About The Instructor
Walt Weiss is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy with over 30 years of experience at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center as a master clinician, mentor, educator and researcher. His current research endeavors include coordinating nationally funded projects for individuals with hemiparesis after stroke and for individuals with paraplegia from spinal cord injury. He is the Clinical Director and founding member of the Rancho/USC Physical Therapy Neurologic Residency and continues to teach CEU courses throughout the country on the use of gait and movement analysis to target interventions for maximal recovery.
