Anti-racist action: New term alert!  Many of us are familiar with the term “microaggression,” however, this term has been updated to now be called “subtle act of exclusion” or SAE.  One of the books on our Building Allyship reading list is called Subtle Acts of Exclusion by Tiffany Jana and Michael Baran.  I’ll explain why the switch and my own lessons learned.
