Dr. J.J. Mowder-Tinney PT, PhD

 
J.J. is a physical therapist who has over 25 years of experience in a multitude of clinical settings with the majority of experience working with people with neuromuscular deficits.  
 
J.J. was a Professor at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY for 15 years and continues to work in their pro-bono clinic for people with neuromuscular deficits. Currently she is a Professor for South College Physical Therapy. 
She is certified as a clinical specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (NCS), is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (c/NDT), received her Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) from the American Stroke Association, and became certified as an Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) from the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy.
 
In addition, she has extensive training in Parkinson’s Disease with certifications in LSVT BIG and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!), ParkinsonNet training and is a PT faculty scholar of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
