NEUROSPARK FOR TEAMS

NeuroSpark is a mentoring and learning model that fits your employee's life.  How does it do that?  It is an online mentorship program designed in collaboration with NeuroCollaborative, Dr. JJ Mowder-Tinney, PT, PhD and other amazing professionals that provides video educational content, live calls, and additional resources to help physical therapists, occupational therapists, PT and OT assistants and exercise professionals improve clinical assessments and treatments for the neurologic population.  It provides exceptional mentoring and skills for clinical advancement that you can't get anywhere else.

NeuroSpark was created BY neuro therapists FOR neuro PTs, OTs, assistants, and exercise professionals.

We've all had the experience of going to continuing education courses and vowing to find time to digest what we've learned, share it with our colleagues, and implement it into our practice.

Then, the busy-ness of work and life happen and we never really translate that knowledge into practice.  We're doing the best we can with what we've got, but it's not what we want for ourselves or for our patients and clients.

We thought there's got to be a better way to keep up with the research, have ongoing learning, get feedback and guidance, have a mentor to reach out to, share wins and challenges with others...

AND THUS NEUROSPARK WAS BORN!

This program is a recurring subscription.  Whichever plan you choose will automatically renew unless you cancel before the next billing cycle.  

NeuroSpark operates on a monthly schedule to provide you engaging content every other week. Calls occur live on Zoom (a free and easy-to-use video platform) and are recorded and stored in the member's library in case you miss it. 

Most calls occur every other Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm PT / 8:30 pm ET, however, all calls are recorded if you can't make it live.

The learnings will be bite-sized to allow you to consume them, implement the next day at the clinic, and report back with any questions, wins, or challenges.

All content is delivered through a well-curated membership platform you can access at any time. (There's even a handy app!) 

Although Dr. Mowder has been an educator for many years and teaching continuing education courses in person for many years, this unique format allows us to create content based on YOUR feedback and make it interactive, engaging and fun!

NeuroSpark is an excellent fit for dedicated:

What will be covered in NeuroSpark:

This is not an inclusive list... A large breadth and depth of neuro content will be covered with diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, etc.  Topics such as gait, sit to stand, transfers, reactive balance, resistance training, aerobic training, etc.

Our motto for this program - it must be FUN!

The estimated time commitment for the NeuroSpark Membership is approximately 2 hours per month - but that's really up to each member.

Here is an outline of what MAY BE included in the month:

• The calls will occur every other week, typically on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm PT / 8:30 pm ET

PLUS it also includes:

• A fully curated members-only portal with recordings of all meetings (in case members can't make it live or want to re-watch), handouts, call links, schedule links - EVERYTHING all in one easy to access place.
• Resource reviews - Live or pre-recorded sessions discussing research articles, learning activities, community engagement, etc, as appropriate.
• Optional monthly Parkinson Focus Track calls for those looking to grow expertise in the treatment of people with PD.
• Optional bi-weekly office hours:  A place to ask clinical questions as they come up. Whether a new clinician or a seasoned life-long learner, questions come up because neuro is challenging! Office Hours offers a fun and easy way to talk through clinical questions (or wins) from the week with our mentor and the mentorship of other neuro professionals from all over the country.
• FULL DAY continuing education workshop each year, live or virtual - dates announced inside.
• Community - a closed Facebook group with other passionate neuro professionals where ongoing discussion, mentorship, and connecting will occur

This educational network is designed to work for your employees!  If they cannot make calls live, all of them will be recorded and uploaded to their fully curated member library.  Members can access at any time and track their progress easily.

We hope some calls can be attended live as it will be of the most benefit to growing as a clinician to get live mentoring.  

We understand this is not always possible and clinicians are busy!  We've designed this for busy professionals in a way that is NOT overwhelming and allows members to actually process and implement what is taught month by month so growth can be seen!

Getting continuing education credit for your employee's commitment is important!  We've been working hard to increase the states we are approved it and are proud to announce that for Spring 2023, new content will be approved for ALL STATES except WV and LA for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.  It is your responsibility to understand what your state requires prior to enrolling if you are concerned. 

For states not covered and for occupational therapists or occupational therapist assistants, all materials will be easily accessible to in the members portal to self-submit in your home state.  (OTs please note some states accept PT CEUs so they may actually be covered!)

If you or your employees have never done self-submit, it is often pretty easy. Explore it for yourself with your state's approval organization. We will make sure you have everything you need to make it simple.

**Note** For states that limit the number of hours of recorded continuing education, we ARE able to make the distinction of hours attended LIVE and those watched recorded on your CEU certificate.  We track who attends live for each call and are happy to meet your state's requirement.  We ask that members please just email us at the completion so we can edit your certificate accordingly.

NeuroSpark will only open 2-3x/year so that we can focus all of our attention on the members inside for as much of our time as possible.

Once we establish your account and payments, all we need is your employee's contact information.

From there we will set up their accounts and guide them through an orientation to NeuroSpark. Everyone will have their own login with individual access to the member library. 

Your employees can reach out to us directly with any questions or issues regarding their membership. We will happily provide ongoing customer support to your employees, on an individual basis. 

We make it easy to manage adding or removing employees from the subscription. Simply email us to let us know if someone needs to be added or removed. 

If adding a new employee, we will send you a link to pay for their subscription. Then all we need is their contact information and we will set up their account. We will assist your new employee in setting up their account and orienting to the program. 

To remove an employee, once you let us know, we will simply cancel their renewal on your account. 

Your business will pay for a certain number of users.  Based on the number you have, you will get more of a discount, up to 40% off regular NeuroSpark rates.  If you have any students in the clinic, we will provide free access to them while they're with you.
